This page will help you choose and compare the best poly garden fencing for your project. We only use and ship Critterfence poly fencing, in our experience, it's the best on the market and has been proven for years. 

Different strengths and heights of poly garden fencing are used for different applications. This type of fencing has some flexibility to it by design. For example, with our Critterfence 1100 poly, large animals like deer can run into the fence at full speed without being able to break through it and bounce off of it. It's chew resistant but not chew proof. For issues in gardens with animals that chew, consider adding another layer of steel at the base (sometimes referred to as a rodent barrier) of the fence (see metal garden fence rolls) or switching to an all metal fence. The most popular configuration is to use rolls of Critterfence 700 or 1100 for height and 3 feet of 1" opening steel web on the bottom, overlapped onto the ground and staked to the ground for chew protection. Chew protection is not necessary for every garden; for example, it’s not needed for customers wrapping trees or shrubs to protect from deer. Here are some popular types of poly garden fencing:

Critterfence 700 Poly Garden Fencing

• Will not rust or corrode even in salt water

• This is our least strong type of poly garden fencing suitable for gardens that are less than 300 linear feet or for wrapping plants. It’s strong, unable to be broken by hand and suitable for most gardens.

Critterfence 800 Poly Garden Fencing

• Two inch approximate opening size
• Will not rust or corrode even in salt water
• Has one finished top edge and can have either a finished reinforced bottom edge or plain bottom edge
• Ships covered in heavy plastic and taped securely for transportation, some rolls shipped in boxes
• This is our least strong type of poly garden fencing suitable for gardens
• This is a heavier type of poly garden fencing suitable for gardens above 300 linear feet or gardens subject to heavier deer pressure.

Critterfence 1100-1400 Poly Garden Fencing

• Ships full size and wrapped for shipping protection with heavy plastic and heavy tape
• This is a heavy type of poly garden fencing suitable for all non chewing animals. As a general rule, any size deer running at any speed will bounce off this fencing.
• This is the most popular type of poly garden fencing used by commercial growers.
